HAITIEN RYTM CYCLE
All the rhythm of this cycle were brought by the slave of the French Colons who were running away from the revolution in Haiti to the Cuban Oriente. Vodoun is presented herein one of its basic version featuring four voice: The Dell (Cloche) The Deguede (play on a Tres for amedium sound) |

| The Sugo (high pitched payed on a quinto) Pay with two sticks : Right hand pays the dotted fourth in the center of the head while left hand plays eight notes on the edge for higher pitch. The Tambu Guada (play on a bass tumba etc.) The left hand pays the beat with astick on the rim. The right hand plays muffled bass with the palm in the center of the head, alternating with open tons (check the recording for improvisation). |
